Conductor
Solid annealed copper having the diameter of 0.4, 0.5, 0.6 and 0.9 mm.
Insulation
HDPE solid polyethylene. Foam skin insulation is available at request.
Cable Assembly
Pairs, each having special lay length to minimize crosstalk and capacitance unbalance, are assembled into 10 pair units. Super units having 50 pairs or 100 pairs or cable core are assemled in these units.
Filling Compound
Water resistant filling compound is stuffed into spaces within cable core to provide water- proofness.
Core Covering
A non-hygroscopic dielectric plastic tape having suitable overlap is applied longitudinally or helically over cable core.
Flooding Compound
Sufficient amount of flooding compound is applied between inner jacket and screen.
Screen (Shield)
Coated with polymer on both sides, flat aluminium foil is applied longitudinally over core covering as screen.
Inner Jacket (Inner Sheath)
Black linear-low density or medium-density polyethylene compound is extruded over screen
Armour
Corrugated steel tapes having a suitable overlap is applied over inner jacket to improve mechanical strength of cable. Special type of water- proof tape or flooding compound is applied over interfaces between armour and both jackets (inner and outer)
Jacket (Sheath)
Black linear-low density or medium-density polyethylene compound is extruded over armour.
